  1. I thought I would check my definition of ‘Virtue’ with the dictionary. “Virtues are the essence of our character and when we keep the practice of virtues at the heart of everyday life, we live with purpose. Virtue, by definition, is the moral excellence of a person. A morally excellent person has a character made-up of virtues valued as good.” You are living a life in a truthful way, Cressida, without fear, with purpose and dealing with whatever is in front, behind or beneath you.

    1. Dear Frank,

Oh! to write with such ‘frankness’, all pun intended, is to be marvelled at; thank you.

Living my life as a foundation of principle and good moral being is what I strive for.

To me, you either live by morals or you don’t. They are important to you or they are not. It can’t be anything other than black and white when it comes to virtue. Yes, there is room for error but if I am doing the same thing over and over, repeatedly making the same mistakes, of which goes against my morals then how could I say I am a virtuous person?

      Cressida
